The Balsam Centre is owned and managed by a charity (Wincanton Community Venture) set up by local people in 1999 with the aim of supporting the health and wellbeing of people living in Wincanton and the rural area and settlements around it. Overall it provides a wide range of services and activities that are easy to access, enjoyable and that have lasting benefits. The Centre is a friendly, vibrant space where many people come every day for meetings, activities and creative or quiet time.
